The new digital series entitled “POCKET CARDS” is a useful and practical tool suitable for tablets, mobile phones, and computers. It consists of simple picture cards, intended to fulfill a specific need, and can be used in multiple ways both by specialists (therapists and teachers) and parents.
Mindfulness is a path into the present moment that brings with it all kinds of benefits to our brains and bodies, our physical and mental health, as well as focus, learning and relationships. The forty fun practices in this card deck can be used by all ages to learn some basic elements of mindfulness, including breath awareness, visualizations, sensory awareness and grounding perspective taking and more.
You might explore these cards yourself, picking one in the morning, or at challenging moments in your day. You can also consider sharing them in therapy, yoga classes, moments in school, or at home in whatever way you prefer. Any of the cards can be practiced in a minute or two, although we certainly encourage you to spend more time with longer practices, and adapt or lengthen the suggestions on the cards as you practice.

These cards were easy to size and print. I am using them with kids and adolescents and finding them to be a great tool to start or end sessions with.
