The forty fun practices in this card deck can be used by all ages to learn some basic elements of mindfulness, including breath awareness, visualizations, sensory awareness and grounding perspective taking and more.

You might explore these cards yourself, picking one in the morning, or at challenging moments in your day. You can also consider sharing them in therapy, yoga classes, moments in school, or at home in whatever way you prefer. Any of the cards can be practiced in a minute or two, although we certainly encourage you to spend more time with longer practices, and adapt or lengthen the suggestions on the cards as you practice.

My passion for understanding human behavior began in childhood and continued to grow through my university and postgraduate studies. The practice of mindfulness deepened my curiosity about its applications in neuroscience, mental health, and communication, when I saw—both in myself and in others—how transformative these practices can be. Since completing my studies, I have had the opportunity to write extensively about mindfulness, mental health, emotional intelligence, and neuroscience, publishing both academic texts and children’s books. I enjoy traveling around the world to deliver workshops, trainings, and consultations for individuals, schools, and organizations, while being affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
