POCKET CARDS | What do you need?

(1)

The new series entitled “POCKET CARDS” is a useful and practical educational tool. It consists of 50 simple A5 picture cards, intended to fulfill a specific linguistic need, and can be used in multiple ways both by specialists (therapists and teachers) and parents. In the book “What do you need?”, children are asked to think, make a choice and explain the reasons for their decision. They are therefore required to use various mental processes and skills, including abstract and logical thinking as well as receptive and expressive language.

Description

What do you need?

Age Group: 4 years and over

Our way of thinking has a direct impact on language, information processing and hence conceptual reorganization. Abstract thinking enables meaningful information processing; it relies on the notion of flexibility and fosters interaction between information and pre-existing knowledge. The book ''What do you need?'' proposes activities requiring children to think, make a choice and explain the reasons for this decision.

Its objective is to test children's mental skills, including abstract thinking and logical thinking, and, at the same time, to identify receptive and expressive language deficits.
