Description

Social scenarios for reflection, practice, and development

Age Group : 14+

The book “Social Savvy – Solving a Problem” is intended for adolescents and adults and offers very concrete, everyday situations that relate to both professional and personal life. It invites readers to analyze these situations, understand what is at stake, and consider different possible solutions.

The goal is not to find the right answer, but to learn how to think, practice, and build confidence. That way, when these situations come up (because they will inevitably come up one day or another), we will be better prepared to face them.

Life offers so many beautiful moments, but it also brings many challenges to face. We are all confronted with unexpected situations, whether at school, at work, or in our personal lives. Often, these are events we did not see coming or anticipate. Yet we must be able to react, make choices, and find solutions.

These moments can be unsettling and create stress. Even so, they require quick, thoughtful, and appropriate responses.

Author

Emeline Saley, clinical psychologist

Passionate about my work, I have been supporting autistic individuals for nearly fifteen years, from the youngest to adults. Being highly sensitive to the specific challenges faced by adolescents and adults, I quickly realized that there was a lack of appropriate resources. So, I began creating materials over the course of my consultations and professional encounters. For several years now, I have combined usefulness with enjoyment by sharing these tools with professionals who may need them, thereby adding a new passion to my profession.
