ONLINE COURSE | Pediatric Case Study: Using Occupation-Centered Approaches with a Client with ADHD

This comprehensive course focuses on applying occupation-centered approaches (meaningful and purposeful activities) for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), centered on a detailed case study of a 10-year-old boy. Participants will:

• Explore the multifaceted nature of ADHD
• Understand the developmental nuances of pediatric cases
• Analyze therapeutic processes and clinical reasoning step by step

Through the Occupational Therapy Model of Human Occupation, participants will learn how to maximize outcomes for neurodivergent children by building on strengths, volition, and familiarity.

This training is designed for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, special educators, school administrators, and all professionals working with neurodivergent children. Learners will gain strategies to focus on functional outcomes that enhance sleep, daily living activities (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and academic tasks.
