Logic is the study of the structure and the principles of reasoning. It is also the study of relations according to which we can say something results from something else or is the consequence of something else. Logic has two meanings. It is the study of ways to reason and the use of valid reasoning. It examines the general forms that can be argued. In mathematics, it is the study of valid conclusions. A reasoning normally consists of at least two premises and a conclusion. The premises are propositions/phrases preceding the conclusion.
