This book was recommended by my son's dyslexia tutor. It was useful in building up his confidence with visual tasks, although he was not ready for all of the pages immediately. My son enjoyed the visual tasks without words most, and sped through them but he did eventually go back to finish some of the letter/number/word ones with the center of the word missing. We are now ready for book 2!

Visual Closure is such an important skill for both reading and handwriting. Indeed, Visual Closure is one of the three most significant predictors of printing speed. This attractive book contains the resources for training a child to pay attention to the details that give them clues about what an incomplete image may be. With three different levels of difficulty, and individual sheets or engaging games, a therapist or teacher has a choice of resources to suit a variety of situations.
