Visual perception denotes the ability of the brain to watch, process and understand visual information that enters the visual system through the eyes. This definition relates to the skill of recognising, gaining insight into and interpreting visual information at the highest levels of the central nervous system.

The 7 eBooks pack comprises 1000 worksheets and activities. Laid out in a colourful and easy-to-use format, it is addressed to special education needs teachers, occupational therapists, logopedists, parents and schoolteachers who aim to support their children in developing and strengthening their skills. It introduces a set of games and activities that build and enhance visual perceptual skills in an enjoyable and interactive way!

Visual perceptual skills PACK include the following eBooks:

PART 1 | Visual closure: the ability to identify a form from an incomplete representation. It is also the ability to visualize a complete whole when given incomplete information.

PART 2 | Figure-ground perception: the ability to visually perceive a form and identify it within a complex background, within a collection of unrelated shapes or items.

PART 3 | Visual form constancy: the ability to recognise that a form is identical to another one even if the latter is smaller/larger, hidden or has been rotated or inverted. It is the ability to recognise a form even though its shape, size or orientation may change.

PART 4 | Visual memory: the ability to recall immediately –after four or five seconds– all the features of a given form and to identify this form within a set of similar forms.

PART 5 | Visual sequential memory: the ability to recall immediately –after four or five seconds– a sequence of forms in the order in which it was initially perceived.

PART 6 | Visual discrimination: the ability to match or specify the exact features of two similar forms.

PART 7 | Visual spatial relations: the ability to perceive the position of objects in relation to oneself and other objects. It is the ability to determine that one form or part of a form is turned in a different direction from the others.

Visual perceptual skills influence several aspects of children’s development and everyday life, ranging from (mixed) motor skills to essential life aptitudes.

    The Best, Most Comprehensive Tool

This has been absolutely amazing in helping my pediatric clients during my telehealth sessions. I am a pediatric OT who works in a clinic that does not charge for its services; we receive funding only through donations and grants, so affordability is a must. This has helped me provide quality, continued care at an affordable price and I was amazed at how comprehensive it was! The parents have loved the activities as well! I’m VERY pleased. This has been a lifesaver!!

Visual Perception Skills for Children with Dyslexia | 7 EBOOKS PACK,

The Visual Perceptual bundle is a really great resource, full of worksheets and fun games. The only things is there are a few to many colour sheets so can be expensive to copy. However despite this it is one of the best set of worksheets I have used.
    thanks for the great work.
